If you’ve been in Beijing for any length of time you’ve probably seen quite a few of the sights and ridden around on a bicycle…but how about both of those things, at night? Snap’s guided bike tour shows you the best of the city lit by the beautiful night lights of Beijing.
Ride down the majestic 10-lane Chang’an Street and take your picture with Chairman Mao’s portrait, all lit up at Tian’anmen Square. See the magical National Centre for Performing Arts, sparkling like a giant UFO rising out of water. Feel the energy of Nanluoguxiang, a restored hutong teeming with cool shops and bars.
As we wind our way around the capital on this two-hour tour you’ll probably get a little thirsty, so we’ll finish the ride at Houhai, where the first beer is on us.
As the capital of the “Bicycle Kingdom”, Beijing has more than 9 million bicycles. To many Chinese, cycling is a way of life; to us, it’s the best way to see the city.
